*** ANIL KSHETARPAL, J (Oral) The hearing of the case was held through video conferencing on account of restricted functioning of the Courts. This is the second petition for grant of bail, pending trial, in a criminal case arising from FIR No.23, dated 20.04.2017, registered under Sections 302, 307, 341, 427, 506, 148, 149, 120-B, 201, 212 and 216 IPC and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, at Police Station Tibber, District Gurdaspur.

The first application was dismissed on 10.08.2020. Learned counsel representing the petitioner does not dispute that the petitioner is involved in a large number of criminal cases. However, he contends that the petitioner is in custody for a period of more than 4 years and therefore, the trial Court may be requested to conclude the trial expeditiously.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, no fresh ground to grant the
