Present writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents to grant special family pension to the petitioner being daughter of late Kans Singh, Inspector, who was killed in terrorist attack on 17.04.1991 and she is only remaining biological claimant of his pension. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that for redressal of her grievance, petitioner got issued legal notice dated 04.05.2018 (Annexure P4), which is still pending with the respondents for taking decision thereon.

In view of above, present writ petition stands disposed of with the directions to the respondents to look into legal notice dated 04.05.2018 (Annexure P4) and take the required decision thereon, expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
