The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr. P.C. for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.29 dated 15.06.2023, registered under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC and Section 13 of the Punjab Travel Professionals (Regulation) Act, 2014 at Police Station Mukandpur, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Punjab.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel on instructions submits that the petitioner is ready to surrender before the trial Court and prays that his bail application be ordered to be decided in a time bound manner. 3.

In view of the prayer made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, present petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned trial Court that in case the petitioner surrenders on or before 21.08.2023 and files an application for grant of bail, it be decided expeditiously, in accordance with law.
