SUDIP AHLUWALIA, J. (ORAL) It is submitted by Ld. State Counsel that inquiry at the local level was made by the Police Authorities and all the private Respondents were questioned, they have given their statements to the effect that they have no objection to the Petitioner's living with one Harikesh as claimed by her in the Petition and they would not interfere with the life and liberty of the Petitioner in any manner.

Ld. State Counsel further submits that no threat perception to the Petitioner survives at this stage.

Ld. Counsel for the Petitioner is satisfied with the above position.

In view of the circumstances noted above, the Petition is disposed off as having been rendered infructuous with a direction upon Respondent No.2 to take appropriate steps as warranted in accordance with law if the need so arises in future, in the light of the Petitioner's Representation dated 28th November, 2020 (Annexure P-2).
