RAJESH BINDAL, J The prayer in the present petition is for issuance of writ of mandamus to respondent No.2 to change the names of the parents of the petitioner in the record, as the petitioner has been adopted by Amarjit Singh and Kamaljit Kaur vide registered adoption deed dated 20.8.2014. Her natural parents otherwise are Prem Singh and Rupinder Kaur. The submission is that respondent No.2 is not considering the claim. Learned counsel for respondent No.2 fairly submitted that certain documents have been asked for from the School, but the School has failed to furnish the same.

After those documents are furnished and in case the the petitioner is found entitled to the relief, the names of the adoptive parents of the petitioner, shall be changed as against the natural parents in the record and a corrected certificate shall be issued. The needful shall be done within a period of one month, after the School furnishes the requisite documents. After hearing learned counsel for the parties and considering the submissions noticed above, the present petition is disposed of in terms of the stand taken by counsel for respondent No.2.
