The petitioners through instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking setting aside of order dated 21.01.2013 whereby order dated 30.10.2012 was reviewed. 2.
The petitioners claim that they were promoted vide order dated 31.10.2012 and their order of promotion was withdrawn vide order dated 21.01.2013. They joined Punjab Police as Constable. They as per turn passed Lower School Course and their name was brought to C-1 List. The respondent promoted members of Commando Unit and Punjab Armed Police who were principally junior to petitioners. They were brought to District Police where petitioners were working. They requested respondent to promote them and revert members of Commando Unit and Punjab Armed Police. The petitioners were promoted by order dated 31.10.2012 and said order was withdrawn vide order dated 21.01.2013.

Learned State counsel submits that in view of judgment dated 16.12.2014 of this Court in "Pradeep Singh and Ors. Vs. State of Punjab and Ors." CWP-4829-2011, the respondent has re-cast seniority list of all the cadres. The joint seniority list was prepared for the period prior to 2008 as Punjab Police Act, 2007 came into force w.e.f. 20.02.2008. The grievance of the petitioners stands redressed. There is no discrimination with the petitioners. The petitioners have further been promoted.

In the wake of statement made by learned State counsel, the instant petition stands disposed of.
