Present writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents to release gratuity to the petitioners at enhanced rate and pay the balance of enhanced gratuity to them beyond the amount of Rs.10,00,000/- along with interest at the rate of 12% for the delayed payment thereof. Learned counsel for the petitioners contended that for the redressal of their grievance, petitioners got issued legal notices dated 01.08.2018 (Annexures P2 to P4), respectively, but no action has been taken thereon by the respondents till now.

In view of above, present writ petition stands disposed of with the directions to the respondents to look into legal notices 01.08.2018 (Annexures P2 to P4) and take the required decision thereon, expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
