The present first petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (corresponding to Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973), seeking issuance of appropriate directions to respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to strictly comply with the mandate of Section 179 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (corresponding to Section 160 Cr.P.C., 1973), by serving a written notice upon the petitioner in accordance with law in the event his presence is required by the investigating agency in connection with any criminal case, inquiry, or proceeding.
