Petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case bearing FIR No.133 dated 11.10.2020 registered under Sections 307, 353, 332, 186 IPC at Police Station Subhanpur, District Kapurthala. Notice of motion was issued on 04.12.2020 and arrest of the petitioner was stayed on the premise that the entire incident was recorded in the CD showing that the petitioner was waylaid by one police man after taking out a danda from the motorcycle. Thereafter, vide order dated 08.02.2021, petitioner was directed to join the investigation.

CRM-M No. 40449 of 2020 -2Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Jasbir Singh submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his presence is no more required in further investigation of the case.

In view of above, order dated 08.02.2021 is hereby made absolute.

However, the petitioner shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so by the Investigating Officer and shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
