(Oral) The grievance of the petitioner is that he was appointed as P.T.I on ad hoc basis on 07.12.1995 and his services were regularized w.e.f 30.12.2000 and thereafter, petitioner was eligible for promotion for the post of Head Master but he was never promoted instead persons junior to him have been promoted who came in the education department under 89 days scheme. The three T.G.T Drawing teachers, junior to petitioner were also promoted on 03.05.2016 on the basis of orders passed by this Court. The petitioner was fully eligible for promotion as he has 22 1⁄2 years of service and was competent to teach Hindi and Social Science on 11.04.2012. In this regard, the petitioner has given legal notice dated 18.06.2018 (Annexure P-10) but no action has been taken till date.

` In view of the above factual position, this petition, at this stage is being disposed of without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, by giving a direction to respondents to pass appropriate order on the Gaurav Arora 2018.11.
