*** SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) This criminal Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed for issuance of writ, order or direction especially in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No. 1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and to register a case against respondent no. 4 & 5, as there are specific allegations against them in compliant dated 15.04.2026 bearing compliant no. 792627 (Annexure P-1) presented before SSP SAS Nagar (Mohali) (Respondent no. 2).

Without adverting to the merits of the case, the respondent No.2-the Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar, Mohali is directed to consider and decide the representation dated 15.04.2026 (Annexure P-1), after providing opportunity of hearing to the parties, by passing a speaking order in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

A copy of order so passed be supplied to the petitioner within seven days thereafter.
