State of Haryana and others .............Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE JASWANT SINGH Present:- Mr.RK Saini,Advocate for the petitioner Mr.Sandeep Singh Mann,Sr.DAG Haryana Jaswant Singh,J.(Oral) Petitioner a resident of Village Haryoli,PO Raipur Rani,Tehsil and Disrtict Panchkula was seeking a mandamus directing the official respondents to take action against Sarpanch and Panchayat Secretary of Gram Panchayat Haryoli for having embezzled huge amounts of Gram Panchayat.

His grievance was that no action was being taken by the official respondents.

Upon notice, learned State counsel on instructions from an official of office of Deputy Commissioner,Panchkula states that required action in accordance with law was initiated and a preliminary enquiry was got conducted in respect of the allegations. Certain discrepancies were identified which have since been removed. In view of the aforesaid stand of the respondents, the preliminary grievance of the petitioner stands redressed. However, he would be at liberty to seek his remedy of filing criminal complaint in accordance with law.
