(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, for quashing the show cause notice dated 07.03.2014 (Annexure P-1).

From the perusal of the writ petition we find that no reply to the show cause notice dated 07.03.2014 (Annexure P-1) has been filed by the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner shall file the reply to the show cause notice (Annexure P-1). However, a prayer was made that the respondents may be directed to decide the aforesaid show cause notice expeditiously.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties, while disposing of the present writ petition, we permit the petitioner to file reply to the show cause notice dated 07.03.2014 (Annexure P-1) along with all the relevant and supporting documents to the concerned authority within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. It is, however, observed that in case the reply is filed within the stipulated period, the concerned respondent shall decide the show cause notice (Annexure P-1) within a further period of two months after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and by passing a speaking order, in accordance with law.
