(Oral) The challenge in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for quashing of order dated 05.09.2018 (Annexure P-1), passed by respondent No.1 in OA No. 060/00018/2017 as well as order dated 28.05.2011, passed by the Disciplinary Authority, order dated 08.11.2012 , passed by the Appellate Authority and order dated 18.07.2016, passed by the Revisional Authority (appended as Annexures P-7, P-10 and P-15, respectively). A further prayer has also been made for directing respondents No.2 to 6 either to reinstate the petitioner in service with all consequential benefits or in the alternative modify the punishment of 'removal from service' to 'compulsory retirement' in the interest of justice.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that certain arguments were raised before the Central Administrative Tribunal (in short 'the CAT'), Chandigarh Bench, Chandigarh, which have not been dealt with in the impugned order. Accordingly, a prayer was made by learned counsel for the petitioner that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach the CAT by way of Miscellaneous Application/Review JAWALA RAM 2018.11.12 15:26 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
