(Oral) CM-10466-CWP-2025 in CWP No. 17350 of 2023 The prayer in the present application is for placing on record the additional documents as Annexures P-18 to P-22. Keeping in view the averments mentioned in the application, the same is allowed. Copy of additional documents as Annexures P-18 to P-22 are taken on record subject to all just exceptions. CM-3498-CWP-2024 in CWP No. 20079 of 2023 Allowed as prayed for.

By this common order, above mentioned writ petitions are being disposed of as all the writ petitions involve the same question of law on similar facts. The facts are being taken from CWP-17350-2023. 2.

Learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the issue raised in the present petition has already been decided by Co-ordinate Bench of this Court while passing order in CWP- - 2022 titled as "

Saurabh Aggarwal versus State of Punjab and others, decided on 16.01.2023, wherein, the claim of promotion was decided on the basis of diploma which was gained while serving.

Learned Senior counsel for the petitioner submits that in the said order passed in CWP-2388-2022 -Saurabh Aggarwal's case (supra), the same objections were taken by the respondents that the petitioner was

CWP-17350-2023 (O&M) and connected cases -3required to undergo the study after the duty hours whereas, he had obtained the regular diploma without getting any leave which assertion of the respondents have already been dealt with while passing the order in CWP2388-2022 -Saurabh Aggarwal's case (supra) hence, the present petition may kindly be disposed of in the same terms and conditions as held in CWP2388-2022 -Saurabh Aggarwal's case (supra) 4.

Learned counsel for the respondents have not been able to rebut that the case of the petitioner is covered with the judgment passed by this Court in CWP-2388-2022 -Saurabh Aggarwal's case (supra). 5.

Keeping in view the statement made by learned counsel for both the parties recorded herein above, the present petition is disposed of in the same terms and conditions as h eld in CWP-2388-2022 -Saurabh Aggarwal's case (supra) 6.

Pending civil miscellaneous application, if any, stands disposed of.

A photocopy of this order be placed on the file of connected case.
