RAKESH KUMAR JAIN, J (ORAL) The petitioners, who are the Chairman and the Vice Chairman of the Panchayat Samiti Sangat, District Bathinda, have prayed for the issuance of a direction to the respondents to release their honorarium/salaries for which they are entitled to in terms of the provisions of the Punjab Payment of Allowances and Fees to the Chairman, ViceChairman and other members of Panchayat Samitis and Zila Parishad (Amendment) Rules, 2014.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has prayed that the legal notice dated 28.9.2017 may be ordered to be decided. After hearing learned counsel for the petitioners and taking into account the facts and circumstances of this case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to decide the legal notice dated 28.9.2017 served by the petitioners within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
