(ORAL) The petitioner was serving as a Divisional Soil Conservation Officer with the Department of Agriculture, Punjab and had filed this petition seeking a mandamus for extension in service under the "optional extension policy" admissible after the date of superannuation of 58 years on 31.10.2018. The petition was filed on 29.10.2018, i.e. before the age of superannuation and any order having not been passed. At the time of hearing, counsel for the petitioner states that subsequently an order declining the request for extension stands passed which requires to be challenged, therefore, prayer is for permission to RAJ KUMAR ARORA 2018.12.03 10:43 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
