***** JASPAL SINGH, J (ORAL) By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature mandamus, directing the respondents to release the family pension on account of death of her husband namely Paramjit Singh, who was working as Beldar in the respondent department at the time of his death while in service. And further to pay the arrears of family pension along with interest @ 18% per annum from the date it was due.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent No.2 to decide legal notice dated 19.07.2016 (Annexure P-6), within a stipulated period. 3.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent No.2-Director, Punjab Agriculture Department, SAS Nagar, Mohali to look into the grievances Sonika 2017.12.22 16:59 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
