(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for setting aside the order dated 12.07.2024 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jalandhar (Annexure P-3) vide which bail of the petitioner have been cancelled and bail bonds/surety bonds of the petitioner has been forfeited in case FIR No.46 dated 16.06.2019 under Sections 399, 402, 482 of IPC r/w Section 25 of Arms Act registered at Police Station City Nakodar, District Jalandhar (Rural).

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier the petitioner had been granted concession of regular bail vide order dated 13.07.2019 and thereby he abstained himself from the Court proceedings due to which order dated 23.11.2023 had been passed issuing non-bailable warrants. On 14.05.2024, he has been granted anticipatory bail by the Court below, however again on account of absence from the Court proceedings, impugned order dated 12.07.2024 was passed vide which non-bailable KAVITA NAIN 2024.08.06 16:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document order/judgment

CRM-M-37873-2024 - 2 - warrants of petitioner were issued and notices under Section 446 Cr.P.C. against the surety were issued.

Mr. Randhir Singh Thind, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. 5.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perusal the relevant material placed on record.

This Court does not find any merit in the contentions raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner and is not inclined to set aside the order dated 12.07.2024 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jalandhar. 7.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the trial Court and file appropriate application.
