CWP No.8599 of 2016 [2] The petitioners are residents of Ward No.15 of Municipal area of Kaithal. Their grievance is against the voter list published on 12.04.2016 (P-3) as according to them, the voter list has been prepared totally in an arbitrary and illegal manner contrary to the rules and scheme of the statute. Their grievance is against inclusion and exclusion of various voters. This very issue has been raised by the petitioners vide their objections dated 22.04.2016 (P-4). Finding no response to their objections and keeping in view the ensuing Municipal Council elections, the instant writ petition has been filed. We have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and gone through the objections.
It appears that the objections raised by the petitioners require consideration by the authorities though it may not be expedient for this Court to express any views on merits thereof. We thus dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the second respondent to call for the records; consider the petitioners' objections and take necessary remedial steps as may be required to be taken in terms of the principles of natural justice, before the Municipal Council elections are held.
Let a copy of this order be given dasti to Ms.Kirti Singh, learned Deputy Advocate General, Haryana, for information and necessary compliance.
