Present writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents to release the retiral benefits i.e. regular pension/commutation of pension, gratuity along with interest at the rate of 12%. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner superannuated on 30.04.2015, but he has not been paid his retiral benefits and for this purpose, he got issued legal notice dated 17.09.2018 (Annexure P4), which still remained unattended with the respondents. Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Mrs. Anju Arora, Additional Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. A complete copy of paper-book be provided to her during the course of the day.
