In the present petition, the challenge is to the impguned order dated 29.09.2021 (Annexure P-2) by which, the benefits claimed by the petitioner- senior citizen under the Maintenance & Welfare of Parents & Senior Citizen Act, 2007, were denied by the authorities concerned. 2.

Perusal of the file reveals that the present petition is pending from the last four years and the case has been adjourned on the request of learned counsel for the petitioner more than once. 3.

Today again, no one has appeared on behalf of the petitioner. 4.

It can be safely presumed that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the present remedy.
