Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondents to pay the petitioners equal pay for equal work alongwith arrears.

Concededly, the petitioners did not raise their claim before the authorities concerned.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel, on instructions from petitioners, wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to approach the respondent(s) concerned for redressal of their grievance. Dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty. It is made clear that in case a request is made before the quarter concerned within two weeks from today, the same shall be considered in accordance with law within next six weeks positively by passing a reasoned order.
