The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to the official respondents for protection of life and liberty of the petitioners and for restraining the private respondents No. 5 and 6 from interfering in their life and also threatening to implicate in false criminal case.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner very fairly contends that the petitioner shall be satisfied at this stage if a direction is given to respondent No.3- Commissioner of Police, Amritsar, Punjab to decide the representation dated 02.06.2026 (Annexure P-4) of the petitioner, in a time bound manner.
