HARPREET SINGH BRAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for setting-aside the order dated 20.11.2025 (Annexure P-11) passed by respondent No.2 wherein the claim of the petitioner has been rejected. Further a writ of mandamus has been sought, directing the respondent/Department for stepping up of his pay at par with respondent No.3, who is very much junior to the petitioner and getting more salary as compared to the petitioner.

The case has been called twice since morning and despite that there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. It appears that neither the petitioner nor his counsel is interested in pursuing the present petition.
