Petitioner who is employed as Inspector in (IT& T) Wing of Punjab Police has filed this petition seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to recast the final seniority list of Head Constables, ASIs, Sis and Inspector Cadres of Operator (IT&T)Wing issued vide orders dated 6.9.2018 (P-1 and P-2).

At the time of hearing learned counsel states that the instant writ petition has become infructuous as the final seniority list has been prepared and circulated.
