*** Status report from the trial Court received. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Gursewak Singh has informed out of 13 PWs cited by the prosecution in as many as 12 PWs have been examined and it is stated that in the trial Court the case was fixed for today.

Since there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner for the last three successive dates, it seems that the petitioner is not interested in further prosecution of the present petition for regular bail. Otherwise this is a third petition for grant of regular bail, the first two petitions having been dismissed by this Court. There is nothing to show any change in circumstances since dismissal of the previous petitions for regular bail. Further more, in view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the trial is moving at satisfactory pace and is likely to be concluded in near future. As such there is no reason to proceed further with the present petition and to grant regular bail to the petitioner during pendency of the trial. The petition stands dismissed accordingly. (H.S.
