Petitioner has filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant the Transport Allowance and the House Rent Allowance.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner had moved representation (Annexure P-3) before respondent No.3 for redressal of his grievance but no action has been taken on the same so far.

Accordingly, without adverting to the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to dispose of the representation (Annexure P-3) expeditiously, in accordance with law by passing a speaking order, preferably within two months from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.
