Prayer made in the writ petition for release of retiral benefits to the petitioner for the period from June 2014 to November 2014 and July, 2017 to August, 2017 along with interest at the rate of 18% per annum. Reliance on this point has been placed upon the judgment rendered by this Court in A.S.Randhawa, Supdg. Engineer (Retd.) v. State of Punjab 1998(1) S.C.T. 343.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that detailed submissions of the petitioner by way of legal notice dated 28.09.2018 (Annexure P14) is pending for decision with the respondents as yet. Notice of motion.
