Learned State counsel as well as learned counsel for respondent No.4 do not oppose the aforesaid course of action. 4.

Keeping in view the submissions made by learned counsel for the respective parties, the present writ petition is dismissed as not pressed. However, since the matter relating to the appointment of Lambardar of Village Surpura Khurd, Sub Tehsil Behal, Tehsil Loharu, District Bhiwani, has been pending for more than twelve years, the learned Collector, Bhiwani, is directed to make an earnest endeavour to decide the same expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of appearance of the parties before him, after affording due opportunity of hearing to all concerned parties.

4.1 The parties are directed to appear either personally or through their respective counsel(s) before the learned Collector, Bhiwani, on 22.01.2026 or any other date as may be fixed by the learned Collector. 5.

The present writ petition is disposed of in the aforestated terms. 6.
