Prayer made in the writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents to release the interest at the rate of 9% per annum to the petitioner on the delayed payment of retiral benefits i.e. leave encashment, pension and arrears of salary.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that detailed representation dated 25.05.2018 (Annexure P5), made by the petitioner, is pending with the respondent for decision.

In view of above, present writ petition stands disposed of with the directions to the respondents to look into representation dated 25.05.2018 (Annexure P5) and take the required decision thereon, expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
