***** JASPAL SINGH, J Through instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to count qualifying service w.e.f. 25.03.1996 instead of 27.09.1996 and to grant 3rd ACP. With further prayer to refix the pension and also to ensure that pension fixed is not less that 50% of the minimum last pay drawn and to pay the arrears of pension alongwith interest accordingly.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent(s) to decide representation dated 03.11.2016 (Annexure P-6), within a stipulated period. 3.

However, if the petitioner still feels aggrieved against any of the order(s) passed by the concerned authority, he shall be at liberty to approach this Court as well as to have recourse to the other remedies available to him under law.
