He alleges that some private-persons have encroached upon the Gram Panchayat land comprising the village 'Pond' and no action is being taken against those encroachers. The petitioner in this regard is said to have made complaints to various authorities including the Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana and the District Development and Panchayat Officer, Ludhiana, but finding no response thereto, the instant writ petition has been filed. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and considering the allegations of encroaching upon the Gram Panchayat land but without expressing any views on merits thereof, we dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana and the District Development MOHINDER KUMAR 2016.05.27 11:45 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
