In compliance of order dated 10.08.2023, status report by way of affidavit of Mr. Gurwinder Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kalanaur, District Gurdaspur, has been filed by learned State counsel on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 3 in Court today, which is taken on record. 2.

Learned State counsel has submitted that the date of birth of the girl is 25.02.2005 and has further submitted that there is no threat to the petitioners and his family members from respondent No. 4. 3.

In light of the above, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners that, in case, any threat perception arises, they shall approach the competent authorities, who shall look into the matter, in accordance with law.
