The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No. 1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of respondents No.4 & 5. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is being pressurized to withdraw the complaints filed by him against private respondents. He has leveled allegations that the Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran is also involved in pressurizing the petitioner; however, it is a strange thing that the petitioner has made a representation to the same Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran for protection. 3.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and find no merit in the present petition. However, needless to say that the State is duty PARUL 2023.08.21 09:37 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
