MANJARI NEHRU KAUL , J. (ORAL) Petitioner is seeking issuance of directions to the respondent Nos.2 and 3 to initiate appropriate action under framework of law against private respondents on the basis of representation dated 21.06.2024 of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a representation was given on 21.06.2024 (Annexure P-3) to the police authorities, however, it had failed to yield any response. It has been submitted that the official respondents were under a legal obligation to pass an appropriate order on his complaint. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, District S.A.S. Nagar, to look into the representation dated 21.06.2024 (Annexure P-3) of the petitioner and take appropriate steps in accordance with law. 3.

In the wake of the limited prayer of the petitioner, the instant petition is disposed of and respondent No.3Senior Superintendent of Police, District S.A.S. Nagar, is directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner and take appropriate steps, if any required, under the provisions of law. However, if respondent No.3 does not find any substance in the allegations levelled in the representation dated 21.06.2024 (Annexure P-3), then the petitioner shall be duly informed as per the parameters laid down by the Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh & Ors. 2013 (4) RCR (Criminal) 979.
