Two appeals have been filed, one, by the widow and minor children and another, by the parents of deceased-Manjit Singh seeking enhancement of compensation awarded by the learned Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Chandigarh vide common award dated 22.02.2013. The parties were referred for mediation in respect to apportionment of the compensation. None has been appearing on behalf of the appellants on a number of occasions. Today again, there is no representation on behalf of the appellants. It appears that the appellants are not interested in pursuing the matter any longer. Appeal is accordingly dismissed in default.
