**** HARKESH MANUJA, J. (ORAL) By way of present petition, prayer has been made for issuance of a direction to the respondents to release the amount of compensation in pursuance to the Award dated 21.05.1998 on account of acquisition of land held by the petitioners. Learned State counsel, on instructions from the concerned Department submits that the amount of compensation could not be released in favour of the petitioners for want of their bank details which fact has even been mentioned in the written statement as well. He further submits that on doing the needful, amount of compensation shall be released immediately.

Upon this, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners shall appear before respondent No.3 on 06.10.2023 at 11.00 am and furnish their bank details for payment of the amount of compensation.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to release the amount of compensation in favour of the petitioners immediately on their furnishing bank details.
