(ORAL) The petitioner herein had applied for the post of Constable under ESM SC (M&B) Category in pursuance to Advertisement No.1 of 2016 dated 31.05.2016 in District Police Cadre and Armed Police Cadre. The petitioner obtained 21 marks whereas the last selected candidates in Armed Police Cadre and District Police Cadre have obtained 23 marks and 24 marks respectively.
In view of the aforementioned facts and circumstances, since the petitioner herein did not get necessary merit to be considered for appointment to the post of Constable, the writ petition stands dismissed.
