Present writ petition for issuance of directions to the respondents to grant benefits of two advance increments to the petitioners by merging it in their pay without effecting future annual increment as per the ratio of judgment rendered by this Court in Priya Sood v. State of Punjab and Others (CWP-6954-2009, decided on 24.01.2011); re-fix their pay; revise their pension with all consequential benefits and to release the arrears of difference between due and draw along with interest at the rate of 18% per annum.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contended that for the redressal of their grievance, petitioners got issued legal notice dated 25.07.2018 (Annexure P9), which is still pending with the respondents for decision thereon.

In view of above, present writ petition stands disposed of with the directions to the respondents to look into legal notice dated 25.07.2018 (Annexure P9) and take the required decision thereon in the light of judgment rendered by this Court in Priya Sood's case (supra), expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
