Present writ petition for issuance of directions to the respondents to grant promotion to the petitioner from the date when his juniors were promoted i.e. 01.02.2012, fix his pay, payment of arrears along with 18% interest and thereafter, to grant pension as per the pay scale given on promotion.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that for redressal of his grievance, petitioner got issued legal notice dated 15.05.2018 (Annexure P2), which remained pending with the respondents for adjudication.
