Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was clerk in the firm of respondents no. 5 and 6 and later on left the job. Now they have started threatening him and coming to his house in order to harass and pressurizing him. He apprehends his false implication in some case by private respondents and is also apprehending threat to his life and liberty.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Poilce, Jalandar Rural to look into the apprehension of petitioner regarding threat to his life and liberty, verify the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law, as required.

However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as providing protection to the petitioner from any action taken in any civil, criminal or any other proceedings initiated/pending against him in accordance with law.
