of paper book having already been supplied to her, and submits that the eviction order dated 25.07.2023 (Annexure P-3) was already passed by the learned District Revenue Officer & Assistant Collector, 1st Grade, Panipat, against respondent No.5 under Section 7(2) of the Punjab Village Common Land (Regulation) Act, 1961; and an appeal preferred by respondent No.5 against the said eviction order has also been dismissed on 05.08.2024. 2.1 Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from Sh. Jai Singh, Patwari, further submits that in all probability, the possession of land, which has been leased out to the petitioner, would be handed over to him within a period of four weeks from today. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the aforesaid statements made by learned counsel for the State, he does not intend to press the instant writ petition any further. 4.
