(Oral) The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari thereby quashing order dated 11.10.2013 (Annexure P-3) passed by respondent No. 2- the Claims Commissioner, Revenue and Rehabilitation Department, Punjab and order dated 09.11.2016 (Annexure P-7) passed by respondent No. 1-Financial Commissioner (Revenue) Punjab.

CWP No.327 of 2017 {2} in-interest were residents of Chakk No. 702, Tehsil Tobba Tek Singh, District Layalpur, West Pakistan, as per the details mentioned in the body of the petition which are not required to be reproduced here. Learned counsel for the petitioner after arguing for sometime prays for withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to file a review application before the Financial Commissioner and to plead that actually there was a deficiency in allotment of land, which did not commensurate with the land left in Pakistan at the time of partition. As prayed for by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to avail the remedy of review before the concerned authority in accordance with law.
