(Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to provide a suitable job to the petitioner on compassionate ground against the death of his father late Sh. Kailash Prasad while he was on duty.
A perusal of the file shows that despite grant of various opportunities, neither any replication has been filed nor there is any representation on behalf of the petitioner as well. The situation was not different even on the last date of hearing.
In this view of the matter, the present petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
