The dispute in the present case is that petitioners have not been granted annual increments by the respondents on the ground that they had not qualified the test in Hindi or English. This issue has been settled by this Court in Lal Chand and others vs. State of Haryana and others, passed in LPA No. 847 of 2012, decided on 01.08.2013 whereby appeal was disposed of to the extent that the respondents shall consider the claim of the appellants for relaxation in Rules sympathetically.

CWP No 920 of 2016 -2Learned counsel for the petitioners states, that at this stage, the petitioners will be satisfied, if directions are issued to respondents to decide his claim in view of the judgment, referred to above. In view of above, without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the claim of the petitioners by passing a speaking order expeditiously, in accordance with law in view of decision passed in LPA No. 847 of 2012, preferably within a period of 02 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
