The petitioner is a construction company, which has claimed that having completed the work allotted, the payment of the same has not been paid along with interest. In this context, the petitioner has submitted representation dated 12.10.2016 (Annexure P-9). Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will be satisfied at this stage in case a direction is issued to the Executive Officer, Municipal Committee, Abohar to consider his representation. The petition is disposed of, at this stage, with a direction to the Executive Officer, Municipal Committee, Abohar to consider the claim of the petitioner, as mentioned in Annexure P-9, within a period of three months after the receipt of a certified copy of this order. In case any amount is found due to the petitioner, the same will be released expeditiously, in accordance with rules and procedure.
