(ORAL) Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing of resolution No.694 dated 26.04.2016 (Annexure P5) passed by Finance and Contract Committee of Municipal Corporation, Patiala vide which 36 works in the tender notice were cancelled. 2.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that he may be allowed to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to the petitioners to take recourse to alternative remedies as available under law.
