The petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered against him vide FIR No.9 dated 18.1.2021 at Police Station City Khanna, District Khanna under Sections 420, 468, 469, 471 of Indian Penal Code. 2.

At the time of issuance of notice of motion, the following order was passed on 28.10.2021:

"Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that even if the allegations as levelled in the FIR are taken to be correct, still it is the coaccused Gurpreet Singh who is alleged to have taken the amount of Rs.6.5 lakhs from the complainant. It is further PANKAJ KAKKAR 2022.03.17 17:30 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

( 2 ) CRM-M-44955-2021 (O&M) submitted that the petitioner has falsely been implicated being wife of Manpreet Singh who is alleged to be present in the office of M/s Prince Associates, where the complainant had gone to meet Gupreet Singh with whom the complainant had a conversation over telephone.

Notice of motion for 17.3.2022.

Meanwhile, in the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on interim bail subject to her furnishing personal bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Arresting/Investigating Officer and shall abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C."

Learned State counsel, upon instructions from the Investigating Officer, has informed that pursuant to interim directions, the petitioner has since joined investigation and he is not required for any custodial interrogation. 4.

Having regard to the aforestated position, wherein the petitioner is stated to have joined investigation and is not required for any custodial interrogation, the petition is accepted and the interim directions issued by this Court vide order dated 28.10.2021 are hereby made absolute, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall join investigation as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. 17.3.2022 ( Gurvinder Singh Gill ) pankaj Judge Whether speaking /reasoned Yes / No Whether Reportable Yes / No PANKAJ KAKKAR 2022.03.17 17:30 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
