The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 50 dated 12.08.2022, under Section 323, 406 , 498-A, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Section 328 of IPC added later on) at Police Station Women, District Patiala (Annexure P-1).

Vide order dated 13.09.2022, this Court while granting the concession of interim anticipatory bail, directed the petitioners to join investigation.

Learned State counsel, assisted by the counsel for the complainant, states that the petitioners have joined the investigation and their custodial interrogation is no longer required. 4.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner's are the father-in-law and mother-in-law of the complainant. Although, the husband Avneet Ghai has tried to play hide and seek and his petition has been dismissed. However, considering the fact that the father-in-law and mother-in-law have joined the investigation and have fairly co-operated and their custodial interrogation is not required anymore. 6.

In view of above, the petition is allowed. The order dated 13.09.2022, granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioners, are made absolute. However, the petitioners shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so by the Investigating Agency and shall abide by the conditions of Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
